FRENCH DRAINS SINCE 2006
Are you finding water pooling on your lawn? Or maybe there’s a bit too much moisture for comfort around your home’s foundation. A French drain system could be the solution. It’s a proven drainage system that can be used to drain standing water from problem areas in your yard or around your home. It’s essentially a trench, perforated pipe, filter fabric, and drainage rock that draws in water and leads down a slope to the exit.
Standard French Drain System
Are you experiencing a soggy lawn, wet basement, or a standing water problem? At CDI, we specialize in drainage solutions such as french drains. Our standard french drain system incudes appropriate size perforated pipe (we use PVC and corrugated), clean drainage rock (typically #57), and high flow filter fabric. French drain systems can lead to "daylight exit" or curb cut. We never bury the exit below grade.
French Drains Systems With Catch Basins
Same as our standard french drain system with the addition of appropriate sized catch basins to allow rapid entry of storm water runoff. Adding catch basins is recommended for the quick heavy downpours we experience in The Northern Virginia Area.
French Drain System With River Rock Top
Same as our standard french drain system with river rock top to allow entry of storm water along a long path where problems are widespread. River rock is also used to conceal a drainage system and look landscaped designed.
